As an aristocrat, Darcia has access to technology that is far better than that of most of the inhabitants of the world of Wolf's Rain. On the whole, his technology seems to be more powerful than that of even the other aristocrats; Cher remarks that Darcia has a great deal more information on Cheza than Lord Oakum. Darcia's family also owned the lab that created Cheza and the other flowerpeople. Presumably, this technology was beyond the other aristocrats, or Cheza would not be such a desired possession. |
